Joel is 45 years old. He owns the business PC Portal.  His family includes his wife Beth, children Logan (20), Gavin (13), Abby (11), Ethan (10), and Aiden (6) and Sam, their 8-year-old  black lab.  Joel has been a parish member for over 20 years.  Joel is active in parish life as a lector and Pastoral Council member.  He leads the Communication Committee and has been leading the development of our new parish website.

Why did you volunteer?  I felt that my background in technology along with my faith journey has pointed me in assisting St. Matthew in any way I can.

What do you hope to accomplish?  My hope is to grow my faith and provide guidance to my family to grow their faith as well. I want to utilize my skills and knowledge to enhance the St. Matthew Parish community. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
